Early Days
Randall’s first professional band “Avion” was signed to RCA records in the early 80’s - the first of Sydney’s famed “pub rock” scene to be signed to a worldwide record deal. They recorded and toured relentlessly throughout Australia in the vibrant live music scene of the 80’s. Sadly their success was tragically cut short one night, when their keyboard player was killed in a car accident returning to Sydney after a show.

Bonnie Tyler
By now, a formidable lead vocalist, lead guitarist and key songwriter, Randall took this cue to pursue opportunities overseas. He lived in the UK for almost 5 years, where he worked with many acts, most notably, Bonnie Tyler … who was famous at the time for hits including ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’, ‘I Need a Hero’ and ‘It’s a Heartache’.

Building a Legend
Returning to Sydney, Randall turned his hand to another passion … studio sound engineering and production. He worked on countless albums, singing and playing, or engineering and producing… sometimes called on for all four disciplines on the one project.
During this time, Randall also played live with Aussie legends; the late Billy Thorpe and Jon English. One thing led to another, and as the grapevine works, he soon found himself over in the US, playing and touring with the most talked about new artist on the planet … Shania Twain. Randall instantly stepped up to the plate, proving himself worthy of playing, singing, and performing on a world stage.

Shania Twain
This was the beginning of one of the biggest world tours of the 90’s. Shania’s album “Come On Over” created history, and still stands as the biggest selling album by ANY woman in recording history.
Now based in Nashville, Randall continued to tour well into the 2000’s, not only with Shania on both her “Come on Over” and “Up!” World Tours, but also working with artists such as Keith Urban, Rodney Crowell, and SheDaisy - among other multi-platinum acts.
Shania’s prolific popularity saw him perform multiple times on shows including Letterman, Leno, Good Morning America, the Today Show, the Grammys, Country Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and even the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Shania also produced several ‘Live’ DVD’s including notable performances with Elton John and the Back Street Boys. By the second world tour, the average crowd was 25,000, but also included a couple of appearances at the well-known ‘Party in the Park’ - The Annual Princes Trust show in Hyde Park in London - each to crowds
of well over 100,000.

Home
Eventually returning to Australia for family reasons, Randall returned to working on his own material, whilst appearing with several big name Australian acts - most notably an 8 year stint with European cult heroes Rose Tattoo.
He now lives in Sydney with his wife Suzie and their three children.
